Core Values
Our Mission is to reach people for Jesus Christ and help them to live out their God-given potential.
Here’s our Core Values that help keep us on the right track.

“To be a community where people can connect with God and others.”
Community Church of Waterford is committed to pursue full devotion to God in a Christ-centered community. It is in our heart to welcome and invite others who are investigating God and challenge believers toward following Christ fully: to grow intentionally, to connect and relate with others who are on the same spiritual journey and to bring help and hope to those in need.
We strive to provide an atmosphere where we truly care for one another, by encouraging growth in your personal relationship with Jesus Christ; whether you’re a lifelong church-goer or if this is your first time in a church. We strive to equip and lead Christ-followers in advancing the Gospel in the world because we firmly believe the church is the hope of the world. We believe we are called to love and serve God, each other, and our community. After all, we, the church, are the hands and feet of Christ here on Earth.
We believe the church needs to be the place where people can encounter God, hear His truth, and feel safe to investigate His love and promises. We do this on Sunday mornings through prayer, worship, and Scripture that is relevant to your daily life, and throughout the week through ministries like Riptide, CCW Kids, and W.O.W.
We desire to live for and in Jesus Christ, to do life together and support each other as a community, and in this dark world, to share the light of our hope in Christ.

We all have an innate desire to be seen, known, and loved. We believe that every single human being is valuable and has worth. We believe that because we are created in the image of God that every single person is deeply valued by Him. Just as God demonstrates His love and worth for humanity through grace, mercy, and sacrifice, we are committed to reflecting that same love by valuing and honoring every individual in our community. As a church, we embrace the unique worth of each person, recognizing that everyone has a vital role in God's kingdom. Our mission is to show the love and dignity that God bestows upon all people, welcoming them with open arms and hearts.
(John 3:16-17; 2 Corinthians 5:14-21)

At CCW, we are a community committed to building meaningful connections with one another. We intentionally come together to offer support, foster genuine friendships, and work toward fulfilling God's purposes. By sharing life and faith, we encourage one another to grow in Christ and serve the world. Our community is a place where people unite to make a lasting impact for God's kingdom.

We believe that God has a unique purpose for every person, and our mission is to help individuals discover and live out that purpose and potential. Through ministry that nurtures the physical, emotional, spiritual, intellectual, and relational aspects of life, we seek to empower each person to grow in Christ and serve others. We are committed to equipping our community to live with intention, aligning their lives with God’s plan in all areas. As a church, we exist to help grow purpose-driven lives that reflect the fullness of God’s love and calling.
